FAQ
The Cup
Is a menstrual cup actually comfortable?
Once it's in correctly, you shouldn't feel it at all. There's a learning curve of a cycle or two — completely normal. After that, most people forget they're wearing it.
Which size should I get?
Three sizes: XS for teens and lighter flows, S for most people who haven't given birth vaginally, L for post-birth or heavier flows. Still unsure? Take our Find Your Size quiz — 3 questions, 30 seconds.
How long can I wear it?
Up to 12 hours, including overnight, sports, and swimming. On heavier days, empty it more often until you learn your flow.
Can it get lost inside me?
No. It physically can't go anywhere — the vaginal canal ends at the cervix. If the cup rides up, relax, bear down gently, and pinch the base to bring it out.
Can I use it with an IUD?
Many people do, but talk to your doctor first — breaking the seal properly before removal matters here.
Can I pee with it in?
Yes. Different exit. Carry on.
How long does one cup last?
Up to 10 years with proper care. That's roughly 2,400 tampons you'll never buy.
The Panties
Are period panties enough on their own?
On light and medium days, yes. On heavy days, most people wear them as backup with the cup for total leak-proof peace of mind.
How many pairs do I need?
Most people rotate 3–5 pairs per cycle: wear, rinse, wash, repeat.
How do I wash them?
Cold rinse after wearing, machine wash at 30°C gentle, air dry flat. No softener, no bleach, no dryer. Full details on our How To Use page.
